The Roberts Business Park was created in 1997 with the
development of TIF district. In 1998 the infrastructure
for the first phase of the park was completed. The first
business, B & H Machine, committed to building in the
Roberts Business Park in April of 1999. Since that time
16 other businesses now call the Roberts Business Park home.
With
the companies that have expanded to the Roberts Business
Park the value of the Tax Increment District (TID) has changed
dramatically from 1998. In 1998 the TID had a value of $13,300.00.
Currently the value of the TID is $13,000,000, and the last
lot is set to close in March 2006.
In addition the equalized value for the Village of Roberts
has changed significantly from 1998 to 2006. In 1998 the
equalized value for the Village was $22,797,000.00 and currently
the equalized value of the Village is $103,146,700.00.
